Stefani Germanotta [born March 1986 in New York, U.S.A.], also known by her stage name Lady GaGa [Taken from the legendary Queen song 'Radio GaGa'], is an American singer-songwriter dance-pop, electronica musician signed to Interscope Records. Born into a Italian-American family and growing up in Manhattan's Lower East side Germanotta attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart School. Having learned piano by ear at the age of four, Germanotta went on to write her first piano ballad at thirteen and began performing at open mic nights by the age of fourteen. At the age of seventeen she gained early admission to the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where she studied music. By age twenty she began writing songs for Interscope Records artists, such as the Pussycat Dolls, also she recently declared that she wrote two songs for the upcoming Britney Spears album.

'The Fame' is the debut album by American pop singer-songwriter Lady Gaga. It was originally released in August 2008 in Canada and some European countries. A revised edition with new tracks and different track-listing was released in Australia on November 15th 2008, in the US on October 28th 2008 and in Ireland and the UK on January 12th 2009. The album has topped the Billboard Electronic Albums chart as well as the Canadian and Irish albums chart. The first two singles from the album, 'Just Dance' and 'Poker Face', have achieved success worldwide with the former topping both the U.S. and UK charts. The album has so far peaked at No.3 in the UK Album Chart. I have included the music videos for all the singles released from the album, including 'Lovegame' for which the forthcoming release date has not yet been announced.
